FIRST STAR: Zetterberg led all NHL scorers in February, tallying 25 points (13 goals, 12 assists) in 11 games. He scored five game-winning goals and posted a +9 rating as the Wings went 8-2-2 and reached the 40-victory mark for the ninth consecutive season (40-16-8).

SECOND STAR: DiPietro made a career-high 12 consecutive starts and posted an 8-2-2 record, 2.19 goals-against average, .926 save percentage and one shutout as the Islanders (32-23-8, 72 points) moved up to seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff race. DiPietro allowed two goals or fewer in nine games, including a 27-save shutout in a 2-0 victory over Philadelphia Feb. 7.

THIRD STAR: Brodeur posted a 9-3-0 record with a 2.22 goals-against average, .919 save percentage and three shutouts in 12 games as the Devils (40-18-6, 86 points) moved within three points of the Eastern Conference-leading Buffalo Sabres. Brodeur allowed two goals or fewer in eight games, including a 30-save shutout against the New York Rangers Feb.
